Il Risveglio is located in the heart of the Maremma, here are some suggestions if you plan some excursions or visits.

In addition to the splendid beaches of Argentario, such as Feniglia beach and the characteristic fishing village of Porto Santo Stefano, also on the southern coast of the Maremma, we suggest the beach of Marina di Alberese inside the Maremma Regional Park (Parco dell'Uccellina) and the Capanne beach in Principina Mare, characterised by the presence of numerous huts made from logs transported by the tide.

On the north-east coast we find the beautiful beaches of Roccamare (30 km) and Punta Ala (40 km) and the town of Castiglione della Pescaia, with a characteristic and lively old town centre, a medieval castle, a very atmospheric seafront promenade and a nature reserve famous for bird watching enthusiasts, Diaccia Botrona.

In the Maremma hinterland area, the Terme di Saturnia, free to the public, with its characteristic pools and water that reaches 37 degrees, are certainly worth a visit. Near the thermal baths you will find the characteristic villages of Montemerano and Saturnia.
